Kristala's Animation, Rig and Combat Design

In the early 2021s, I took on the role of lead animator for a challenging souls-like game project. My main focus was on revamping 3D animations and rigs, and to positively impact the project. Throughout this journey, I prioritized mentorship and expanded into various areas, guiding team leads and fellow animators to enhance their skills. Reflecting on this experience, I've gained valuable lessons that have fueled both personal and professional growth. This Animation Demo Reel compiles many of the game's animations and rigs I made, showcasing our team's collaborative effort.

Obey Me Gameplay Animation Demo Reel

During Obey Me's development, I was responsible for animating, rigging, and skinning every character and creature. The game had a couple of iterations and changed from an Action RPG to a Brawler with combos and new mechanics. As a result, during the last two years of development, I faced the challenge of creating hundreds of animations and rigging new characters while meeting tight deadlines. It was a fast-paced and rewarding experience, and a pleasure working with Error 404's team. This Animation Demo Reel gathers many of the game's animations.
